Who could replace Van Bronckhorst as Rangers manager?.

With the recent sacking of the Dutch manager, Giovanni Van Bronckhorst the Scottish giants are in the hunt for a new gaffer. Many names have been linked towards the role; however, these are my top 5 candidates for the job.

No.5 Ralph Hasenhuttl

The Austrian manager was recently sacked by Premier League club Southampton. With the appointment of Hasenhuttl he could elevate Rangers play style by bringing in his preferred high-pressure football. Which would get results in the Scottish premier League. Unfortunately, only gets the 5th position due to his losing record with his previous club Southampton. Only winning 60 out of 173 games and losing 75.

No.4 Marcelo Bielsa

The former Leeds manager and legend across his country Argentina would be a perfect fit for Rangers. Bielsa has been known to revolutionize teams with his high attacking line and play style. Gaining 81 wins with Leeds out of 170 games. This could be what Rangers need. With Bielsa being one of the best in the business available Rangers must have an eye open for the Argentine Manager.

No.3 Steven Gerrard

A return? This could be one of the best moves for Rangers. A former manager with newly found Premier League experience with Aston Villa which he was later sacked from the job. However winning the league with Rangers. This could be a match made in heaven . I’m sure rangers fans would love to see this move materialise.

No.2 Sean Dyche

Quite simple really. One of the best managers available on the market currently. Who suits the Rangers style. Dyche was the Burnley manager for 10 years and got results. Winning 152 out of the 425 games managed. Dyche could be perfect for Rangers. His style consists of a 4-4-2 with a double 6.

No.1 Michael Beale

Being the favourite for the job Beale would have high expectations . The former assistant to Steven Gerrard at Rangers so he would already understand the culture of the club. With his current form as well at QPR he would be the perfect. Playing new attacking football which holds a high pressure and doing that it has given out results.
